About Royal Queensland
Eagle Farm, Brisbane, Queensland
A flat but subtly contoured course beside the Brisbane River featuring wide fairways, strategic bunkering and large old fig trees, entirely rebuilt as a new 18-hole championship layout in the mid-2000s.
History
Founded in 1920 with an original course by Carnegie Clark and later input from Alister MacKenzie in 1926, the club built an entirely new course designed by Mike Clayton, completed in December 2007 after a highway project claimed part of the old layout.
