About Kooyonga
Lockleys, Adelaide, South Australia
Kooyonga is a sandbelt-style course on former swamp and dune country, with narrow, timber-lined fairways and well-protected greens near Adelaide's Henley Beach.
History
Founded by H.L. 'Cargie' Rymill after he spotted the site in 1922, the course opened in stages and was completed to 18 holes in 1924.
