About Barwon Heads
Barwon Heads, Victoria
A classic seaside links on treeless, undulating dune land along the Bass Strait coast, mixing an oceanfront front nine with an in-and-out back nine.
History
The club moved to its current links site in 1919–20 with a course laid out by Royal Melbourne professional Vic East, whose design was later influenced by a 1926 visit from Alister MacKenzie.
