About Indooroopilly (West)
Indooroopilly, Brisbane, Queensland (Long Pocket, on the Brisbane River)
The West Course is one half of Indooroopilly's 36-hole riverside complex, playing along the banks of the Brisbane River on a surfboard-fin-shaped site bound on three sides by the water.
History
Indooroopilly relocated to its riverside Long Pocket home in the 1960s; its course complex later expanded to 36 holes, with design contributions from Al Howard and Ross Watson.
